Michele Howard Diggs

PA-C, MHSc

Ever since I was young, I have been obsessed with self-improvement. When I embarked on this journey of medical aesthetics with my business partner and friend, Kristin Hopkins, centering Essence of Allure around the goals that self-improvement and self-awareness should be attainable, inclusive, and rewarding. I knew my life was in for a miraculous change.

I started my education at Seton Hill College, now known as Seton Hill University, where I obtained my B.S. in Biological Sciences. I then secured a master's degree in Physician Assistant Science and Health Science Administration from Saint Francis College in Loretto, Pennsylvania. I have been fortunate to have traveled the world doing what I am most passionate about, practicing medicine. I have worked professionally in several different specialties throughout my 27 years in the medical field. I am a proud U.S. Army veteran, having spent 12 years in uniform working as a Medical Officer. As a civilian practitioner for the last 15 years, my career has been in cardiology. My goals have always been to promote wellness. As I reach mid-life, I realize how often I placed my health, beauty, and wellness on the back burner. Finding time beyond being a professional, wife, and mother of 4 can be challenging. Health and beauty have only sometimes been at the top of the list of priorities. Now is my time to find that balance. As I do, I want to inspire and challenge the lives of others by encouraging wellness, both outside and within. I welcome you to join me on my journey. We are in for a fun ride!

Kristin Hopkins

CRNP, MSN

My educational background started at Waynesburg University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a registered nurse, I spent most of my career in acute care and working within the ICU. In 2014, I graduated from Wheeling Jesuit University after completing my Masters of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner. I then transitioned to cardiac care, working in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

My nursing experience has been both joyous and prosperous, enabling me to raise a family with my husband, Troy, to whom I have been married to for 25 years. I have two amazing children and am a happy grandmother of two more. However, despite all the successes I achieved in the nursing field, around two years ago, my heart decided to move my career in an entirely new direction.

With my friend and business partner Michele, we devised a plan to venture into the health, beauty, and wellness field. Bringing this idea to life has been an exciting journey. With the help of my family, I am now certified in Botox, Fillers, and Hydrafacial and continue to gain certifications in dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, and micro-needling.

As the co-founder of Essence of Allure MedSpa, our goal is to help women and men look and feel their best!

Kim Price

Injector

Hi, my name is Kim, I am a Registered Nurse here at Essence of Allure Med Spa. I have my Bachelor of Science in nursing, and for the past 17 years, I have worked in various medical settings, such as the ICU, Home Health, and Case Management, but esthetic medicine has been an interest of mine for some time. I am so excited to finally have the opportunity to help people look and feel their best with the services that we offer here at Essence of Allure. I learned, with my first aesthetic experience, that the smallest change can make such a difference in your confidence and self-esteem, and this is what I hope to provide to anyone who comes to me for treatment.

Jordan (Jo) Mitchell

Semi-Permanent Makeup Artist

My name is Jordan, but you can call me Jo! Makeup has always been one of my passions. I started as a self-taught makeup artist, doing makeup for photo shoots, weddings, and other special events. After a few years of doing makeup full-time, I decided to take my passion one step further by attending the Advanced Microblading Academy, the leading academy in the United States for permanent makeup. I am now a certified eyebrow microblading artist with plans to continue certifications in other semi-permanent makeup procedures. Although I am new to the skincare world, I am eager to learn everything I can to help my clients achieve the skincare and beauty they deserve.
